Beginners

We will teach you how to shag in the Beginners Class with these four sessions.
Please always check in at front door when you come into the club. ABC & ALE Law
No drinks are allowed to be brought into the club...this includes water, soft drinks, milk shakes, energy drinks, liquor, beer, wine, coffee, juices, breakfast drinks, yogurt,....
If you know you are going to miss a class, you want to take the pay as you go classes or at least three classes to get the four week sign up deal. If you are going to be out, you must email us or call prior to lessons in order to get a make-up date and make up date must be done the following month.
Our instructors offer Private Lessons as well... so contact us if you are interested in Private Shag Lessons
Want to learn to shag, maybe you want to learn some new steps......or freshen up on what you already know? Learning to shag in a beach club where we do the dance is a great place to take lessons, and Loafers Beach Club is that place.
Anyone that shags can count the steps out to you but not everyone can teach the "proper" way to shag so it is important to take lessons from qualified shag instructors....those folks that do the dance all the time from instructors that go out dancing on regular basis.... You will find two of them here at Loafers.
At Loafers, we have fun on the dance floor. Our instructors, Mike & Barbara will make sure that you have fun and learn to shag at the same time. You do not need a partner!
Come out any other shag night here at Loafers and dance.... You can watch, practice what you are learning or do both.....We love to dance and we love those that want to learn the dance... This dance we call shag!

This class is a continuation of our Basic class and is designed to add more Basic Moves that will enhance what was learned in the Beginner Class.
If you are signed up for the four week Intermediate I Class and want to take Intermediate II, you can pay an additional $20 and get both classes.
(Note: You must take only the class you are signed up for)
If you are signed up for Intermediate I or Intermediate II and have had Beginners at Loafers, you can review the Beginners FREE..... This is the only class you can review at no charge as long as you are signed up for one of our other classes.
We will be teaching a variety of other Intermediate level steps to enhance your dancing ability each month.
Four Week Class This Month
Members: $40 (Please show card)
Guests: $45 (includes a membership)
Pay As You Go on Intermediate & Intermediate II classes:
Members $13 per class: Guests: $14
It is best to take the four week Beginner Class so you will learn all the necessary Beginner Steps to move to higher classes.
Must sign up the first night to get four week price.... After the first night, price will be the price of Pay As You Go
We accept cash or checks for lessons and we offer a $5 discount on cash pmts for four week session sign up.

Male lead/Female Lead Steps Together Steps for Social Dancing
This class is designed to take your dance to the next level, centered on steps you can do with any partner.
We will provide instruction on Male Leads, Female Leads, Together Steps For Social Dancing and More!
